1. What are the terms and conditions for selling my designerware at Scoop?
Our terms and conditions are :
- We accept only genuine designer and contemporary labels with a fashionable and/or timeless look for resale at Scoop.
- We accept designer labels for items such as handbags, clothes, shoes, belts, sunglasses and other accessories.
- We accept your designer items for resale at our boutique for a maximum period of 90 days.
- Most items are priced at the sellers’ request, however, we advise 50-60% off the original retail value for designer items such as handbags and approximately 70-80% off the original retail value for designer items such as clothes, shoes and accessories. Note that current season designer items may be priced at approximately 80-90% off the original retail value SUBJECT ALWAYS to the condition of the items.
- We ask that your designer items be in GOOD CONDITION and CLEAN.
Rule of Thumb : If you wouldn’t buy it based on its condition, we can’t resell it.

2. How long will my items be listed for sale?
They will be listed for a maximum resale period of 90 days.

3. How much will my items be sold for?
Most items are priced at the sellers’ request, however, we advise 50-60% off the original retail value for designer items such as handbags and approximately 70-80% off the original retail value for designer items such as clothes, shoes and accessories. Note that current season designer items may be priced at approximately 80-90% off the original retail value SUBJECT ALWAYS to the condition of the items.

4. How much does Scoop receive for selling my designerware?
Scoop operates on a 70% (seller) / 30% (Scoop) sale or return basis within 90 days ("resale period") from the date the items are received. The seller will receive 70% of the selling price. You will be paid after the items are sold at the boutique. The best possible care will be taken with your items, however, Scoop is not responsible for loss (theft or other) or damage. Items are left at the risk of the seller. At the end of the 90 day resale period, Scoop reserves the right to return and unsold items to the seller or the seller may choose to donate any unsold items to a charity of Scoop's choice.

5. What happens if my items are not sold?
Any unsold items must be picked up, once informed, by the seller within 60 days. If the seller, once informed, does not pick up any unsold items after the 60 day period, the items become the property of Scoop.

6. Does Scoop have a pickup service for my designerware?
We offer a discreet pickup service at the seller's request. By appointment only, one of Scoop's consultants will visit you at your home and assist in picking/choosing which items in your wardrobe are appropriate for resale at our boutique. Our consultants have extensive market experience which enables us to value the designer labels to make sure they sell to our loyal clientele.

7. What is the “Drop and Run” service?
Time is of essence and we appreciate how valuable your time is. We offer the "Drop and Run Service" for those of you that do not want to wait while we check over your items at the boutique. Make sure your items are sealed in a carrier bag or boxed, together with a list of the items and the approximate value/price you would like the items to be priced at. We will either fax/email/have available for you to pick up at a more convenient time the "ITEMS RECEIVED NOTE" (IRN). This service saves you time and makes life a little easier for you! 8. Will my personal information be kept private?
Rest assured, we accept and respect our clients (both sellers and buyers) privacy and would do our utmost not to divulge any personal information regarding our clients.

9. If I sell my designer labels, can I also buy other designer labels from other sellers at Scoop?
Of course you may! From our experience, sellers do also buy designer labels provided for resale at Scoop from other sellers. You may choose to buy or set off your purchase against any of your items that have been sold.

10. Where does the merchandise come from?
Scoop operates on a resale basis. Our designer items come from Scoop's esteemed and cosmopolitan mix of clients, including stylists, fashion editors, celebrities and society ladies. These clients provide the boutique with designer merchandise from their personal wardrobe to resell at Scoop at a fraction of their original retail price.
